Thankful Thursdays - So Glad I Don't Live In The Snow!

Thankful Thursdays - So Glad I Don't Live In The Snow!

Here are some photos from after our blizzard the other day.  The snow always looks so pretty to me when the sky is blue and the sun is shining.  Has to be clean, white snow though!  Hate when it gets all dirty and mucky!

We got a little over 2 feet here and school was cancelled for one day and had a 2 hour delay today here in Brookfield Massachusetts.  Looks neat to see lots of tunnels/paths dug out of the snow all over the yard.  Had so much fun playing in the big snow when I was a little girl and now my kids are enjoying it.

After doing a video blog in the snow in my shorts yesterday I was happy to come inside and get warmed up again.  Glad I don't live in the snow!  I'd never last!

Kathleen, New Jersey gets it fair share of snow, and I too always feel I won't make it. But 40 years later I'm still here. You get use to it.

Living in snow country has its drawbacks, but it also brings many benefits!  If people live in the snowbelt then be like the boyscouts and be prepared!  Cut down on physical labor and buy a snow blower?  Personally I love it, but I know how to deal with it.

I do live where it snows, but I'm glad I don't physically live outside in the snow!  That was what came out of my mouth when I came in from being out in my shorts.  Don't know why, but I was just glad to be inside where it's warm.

It is a pain to show houses in!  Especially our favorite foreclosure homes...LOL

Thanks for stopping by!

Wow, that's a lot of snow and we complain about a few inches in North Carolina.

My dad's down there Jeff!  I used to live in High Point for awhile and worked at a hotel in Greensboro.  Beautiful down there!

Glad I don't live anywhere that it snows that much!  I wouldn't like trying to drive in it, but it is beautiful.

Kathleen,

I don't like dirty or yellow snow! It is pretty when it first falls though.

Worcester got around the same amount.

I don't ski but I love snowshoeing!
