Medieval Manor - A Dinner Full of King Sized Entertainment
Yesterday we had the privilege to join some friends and their family on a trip to Boston to dine at Medieval Manor. The fun started when the Hummer limo picked us up in Brimfield. We each brought drinks, snacks and appetizers to share to make the ride fly by with style. At 4:30 we arrived at Medieval Manor and were directed to hang out in the bar area until our table was ready for us.
Our bar wench came out and called several parties and took us to our seats. Lucky for us we were right next to the stage. Next we were greeted and given pitchers of beer, wine and water accompanied by big plates of steamers. That's when the show began! There was joking and singing from the King himself, the bar wenches and court jesters. Our friends planted spoons on their mom and got her in trouble! (You're not allowed to eat with any silverware!) She had to go on stage and answer to the King.
Followed by the steamers we were served bread, tomato basil soup, jalapeno cheese pizza, ribs and chicken. I was so stuffed when we left that I could barely move! 4 of us at our table got called on stage by the king to do a little dance - "I'm A Little Teapot". LOL Lucky, or maybe unlucky for us, James was able to take a lot of photos of us up there.
If you're looking for some fun, medieval entertainment around Boston, check out Medieval Manor. It's Boston's longest running show since 1973.
