Speechless Sunday - View From Our Trip Up Mt. Washington

On Top of Mt. Washington

This photo was taken this past week at Mt. Washington in New Hampshire.  We took a family trip to North Conway to take the kids to Story Land.  Mt. Washington has always been one of my favorite sight seeing places to visit.  One day I hope to take the train up the Mountain, but my 4 year old wanted nothing to do with that this time!

That's beautiful!  I've guess I don't know much about NH because I never expected to see that!

It's one of the most beautiful places to visit Shelley!  We love it.  James, my husband is from TX.  He's loving the sights of New England now.

Sincerely,

Kathleen

Kathleen , thanks for the plug. We climbed the Tuckerman's ravine side of Mount Washington this past May there is so much snow accumulated in the ravine it can be skied well in to June, but a hike is required no lifts here and that separates the hardcore from the casual skier. Again thanks for the plug!!

Kathleen, Isn’t it amazing how much bounty and beauty naturally surrounds us? Focusing on this magnificent view is so peaceful and tranquil. Thanks for sharing.

Some of the best camping I ever did was at Tuckerman's Ravine in the White Mountains in NH. The sights from up there are just gorgeous....as are the photos you've shared with us here Kathleen.

Kathleen, it's been years since I visited the White Mountain area of NH and went to the top of Mt. Washington. New England truly hs features that are distinctive and cozy. So many of the towns still have that town center that just makes one believe that time can stand still. Thanks for sharing

Kathleen- Story Land is so much fun for young children, I have some great pictures of my kids with humpty dumpty and the old women who lived in a shoe. LOL

The ride up Mt. Washington is incredible and I with your 4 year old about the train, I couldn't do it! I am glad that you and your family had a great time!

What a totally awesome view.

I've never been there as some of the commenters have.

Thanks for sharing the photo.
