BEST PLACE TO RENT JET SKIS ON LAKE WINNIPESAUKEE NEW HAMPSHIRE

This weekend James and I took a little getaway trip to Maine to celebrate our anniversary that passed a few weeks ago.  On our last day we decided to drive up to Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire to rent some jet skis on the lake.  After doing a Google search, we found Wolfeboro Jet Ski Rentals to be the best priced and friendliest service around.  They let us make some reservations and had 2 jet skis in great condition ready for us when we arrived.  

We had to read the boating laws booklet and pass a boating exam to get our 14 day licenses to operate on the lake.  This took us about 30-45 minutes to do and then we were out on the lake cruising the open water.  Normally they rent for 1 hour, 2 hours, a half day (4 hours) or a full day, but they were nice enough to make us a 3 hour package since we needed to drive back home in the late afternoon.  

The sun was shining and the lake was warm.  It couldn't have been a more beautiful day to rent jet skis and be on the lake.  Lake Winnipesaukee is huge.  It is the 3rd largest lake in New England covering 72 square miles.  It has 182 miles of shoreline and features 253 islands.  44,586 acres, you can explore Lake Winnipesaukee for hours and never see the same spot twice.

Hi Kathleen,  I'll bookmark this for the next time we are in NH, since we go down to Bangor & Portland every month, it's only an hour more to NH from Portland...  I have my jetski & biker's license already...  Thanks for the tip!!!  ;>))

York Beach, ME was about an hour from Lake Winnipesaukee too.  Great place to visit, but the ocean in Maine was pretty cold compared to Cape Cod!  Weather was in the low 70s, bet if it had been in the 90s it would have been nice.  We were just saying we hope to get up to Canada again soon!  :)

This really sounds like a lot of fun Kathleen.  My youngest daughter loves the water sports.  I'm glad you both had a great time, and that you are refreshed for the week to come.
