Blogging For Business Networking Class - Week 3

What a great class we had on Week 3 of our Blogging For Business Networking Class!  We learned and shared lots of tips for using color, photos and video on our blogs.  We also discussed my favorite chapter in the e-book Soci@l - Farming Your Social Networks. 

First we showed where to find the embed code on YouTube to add into the HTML section of our blog post to add great video. 



Next, we discussed where to adjust our photos to get them to show up where we want in our posts, how to space the words to wrap around the picture and add borders.
Adding color can be a snap with these 3 easy methods. 



We shared some great tips for farming your social networks:

 

  • Create Neighborhood specific Fan Pages
  • Create a Twitter account that is Neighborhood or town specific and use Geochirp to find local Tweeters to follow
  • Create a Neighborhood specific blog and update with video, upcoming events and local business info
