DAY 15: 100 DAYS OF CENTRAL MASS FEATURES CAPE COD, MA
Let's take a drive 90 minutes from Central Mass to Cape Cod, one of my favorite places to visit! Cape Cod is full of miles of coastline, tons of great beaches, shops and restaurants. It's a popular destination for locals and out of staters alike. Looking for a great beach to visit this summer? Check out this website that has a great map search broken up by town.
My new-found favorite beach is Old Silver Beach in North Falmouth, MA. It's warm, clean and was very uncrowded at the end of June when we visited. There are bath houses and concessions for your convenience. Parking is $20 per car. Some parts of the water can be rocky, so I'd suggest water shoes if you have them. The water was blue green, absolutely stunning.
From the Cape you can catch a ferry boat to the islands of Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, visit Provincetown for lots of entertainment or do some shopping at the Cape Cod Mall. There are endless activities and attractions and it's a great place to visit so close to home.
Check it out when you get the chance! You won't be disappointed!

Interesting. So why is a vodka crannberry called a "Cape Cod?"
Hmmm...good question! I don't know too much about drinks, I've been pregnant for most of my life! LOL
Sincerely,
Kathleen
