B.T.'s Smokehouse - BBQ Restaurants In Sturbridge MA is one of my favorite places to get really good BBQ.  James being from Texas, would have to agree, it is the only real BBQ place around these parts in Sturbridge.  You can often find us picking up one of their dinners for 4 with a combination of ribs, beef brisket, delicious potato salad, corn bread and slaw on our way home from appointments.  They are quick to get you in and out and very friendly. 

Check out B.T.'s Smokehouse's website online at http://www.btsmokehouse.com.   They change their specials often, but you can checkout their menu online to view the staples they offer daily.  If you love BBQ and live in the area, I'd suggest you join B.T.'s Smokehouse's Facebook Fan Pageto keep up with specials and events.  They often offer discounts to their Facebook friends so watch your news-feed for that.   B.T.'s Smokehouse is getting noticed not only for their awesome food, but for their Green habits.  You can read a recent article about them in the Worcester T&G.    

The owner of B.T.'s Smokehouse, Brian Treitman, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park.  About 2 1/2 years ago he started his small roadside bbq shack at the Village Green Campground located at 228 Sturbridge Road (also known as Route 20) in Brimfield. In November of 2008 Brian opened a "snack shack" version located at 376 Main St. in Sturbridge next to Yankee Spirits. More recently, they opened a new location with seating for 25 in Sturbridge at 392 Main St., across from Old Sturbridge Village.  I need to get over there and check it out.  I'll be sure to take some photos to share with you all.  I'm hungry for some BBQ!

Sturbridge Coffee House - Coffee Houses In Sturbridge MA is a great place to enjoy a cup of joe and a bite to eat.  Located at 479 Main Street in Sturbridge, the Sturbridge Coffee House serves breakfast, lunch and specialty coffees. 

Yesterday, the Sturbridge Coffee House celebrated their 2nd anniversary.  The Sturbridge Coffee Houseis the only locally owned and invested coffee house in Sturbridge, MA.  To keep up to date with events, job openings and specials, join them on Facebook.  They often feature live music and children's entertainment.  Right now they are generously stepping up to help the community by collecting 21 gifts for local foster children.  Be sure to stop by and see if you can offer anything to help. 

Pia does a wonderful job interacting on her Facebook page and keeps her customers wanting more.  If you visit her page, you will see the wide range of goodies her patrons enjoy such as the 3 types of gluten free muffins, black bean salad that comes with sandwiches, soups and more.  Lately they have been featuring fun game nights to break up those winter blues.  The atmosphere at the Sturbridge Coffee House is cozy casual making it a great place to socialize and meet others.

Rovezzi's Ristorante - Italian Restaurants in Sturbridge MA is a great place to enjoy casual fine dining.  One of my absolute favorite local restaurants, Rovezzi's Ristorante is a great mix of great food and nice atmosphere.  It is located on the corners of Route 20 and Route 148 in Sturbridge.

I had the pleasure of meeting owner and chef Christopher Rovezzi and he was very kind and accomodating.  Feel free to join his fan page here to keep up to date with all of their specials and events.  Chris is a down to earth guy that can cook!  What's not to like? 

Some of my favorite dishes to order at Rovezzi's Ristorante are the Parmigianno, the Filetto di Manzo and the Vitello Limone.  To view their menu online, click here.  Dress attire is casual and reservations are highly recommended on nights that are typically busy. 

Rovezzi's Ristorante is great with social networking and hosting special events.  I'm currently on their email list and they do a wonderful job notifying me of specials, events and changes.  Their fan page will also keep you informed on what's going on. 

You cannot visit Sturbridge without visiting Rovezzi's Ristorante at least one time.  They hands down beat all of the popular chain Italian restaurants in Central Mass and they are the best in Sturbridge.
