Thank You 200,000 Times ActiveRain!

THANK YOU 200,000 TIMES ACTIVERAIN!

As I spent the weekend thinking about what to write for the post that would put me over the top to 200,000 points it hit me!  I want to thank ActiveRain 200,000 times for increasing my business and web presence by at least that much.  Thank you for the contacts and friends I have made.  Thanks for all of the knowledge and wisdom you have shared with me and the days you've let me just vent.  

Thank you for RainCamp in Boston where I had a blast meeting my online friends and idols.  Thank you for the bond I have formed with agents in my local community looking to start their own blogs.  Thank you for the points that keep you going on days where you really don't feel like writing.  Thank you for featured posts, funny groups and for allowing me to call the shots.  

Thank you for introducing the e-book Soci@l to me where I learned so many great things about working with my social networks.  I've now learned how to really use Twitter to find locals, Facebook for business and blogging for success.

I came across Kerrie's blog yesterday about writing a testimonial for ActiveRain and wanted to share mine for all of you:  

"I am not your typical ActiveRain blogger.  I lack systems and tracking skills and am working on that as my business grows at rapid rates.  Why is my business growing at rapid rates?  All thanks to ActiveRain!  I don't cold call, I don't pay hundreds of dollars on pay per click advertising and I don't belong to a BNI group.  I blog, simple as that.  I take time each week to blog about my market, my new listings, my sales and local businesses.  I get noticed on Google by consumers and other agents alike.  I've started classes in my area to help other agents blog and have built a lot of relationships on a national level thanks to AR.  I have taken referrals, given referrals and had tons of emails and calls from consumers calling on blogs.  How many lead to sales?  I'm not sure because my tracking is weak, but I'm working on it and have no doubt in my mind that I owe most of my success thus far to ActiveRain.  Thanks ActiveRain!"
