MY DROID DOES - My Top Droid Apps List Refreshed

Back in November I bought my Motorola Droid and I haven't looked back.  This thing does absolutely everything you could possibly need it to do plus everything you'd want it to do!  Love it!  I was so excited to share my favorite apps list with you all back on December 7th and I figured it's about time to refresh that list and update you with the everyday must have apps on my Motorola Droid.  More and more people are purchasing the wide variety of Android phones that feature Google's full web browser on them, including my husband James.  James would not give in to paying the $30/month data fee for owning one of these high tech devices, but something made him cave and he LOVES his new Droid phone.  James purchased the LG Ally which is a little smaller than the Motorola Droid, but looks a lot like the same.  He can do just about everything my Moto Droid can do, minus the higher quality camera and flashlight apps that seem to be missing on the LG

If you have an app you love that's not on the list, please comment and share it with us all.  Here is My Top Droid Apps List:

  • iMusic - Loving the ability to download music from anywhere.  I've found most hit songs on this app so I can't complain.  It's free!
  • MixZing- Awesome app to create play lists for your music.  I've replaced my iPod because of these music apps.
  • YouMail- AWESOME FREE visual voicemail app
  • Swift - My app of choice for Twitter.  I can pretty much do everything I want on Twitter with this app.
  • Shazam - Lets me tag songs that are playing on my radio and it will tell me who the singer is and what the name of the song is as well as save it for me for later to look back on my list.
  • PhoneFlicks- Netflix on your phone.  (Can't watch movies, but you can update your que)
  • DriveSafe.ly - An app that reads your text messages and email out loud while you are driving so you can be hands-free
  • Bank of America - I can do my banking from my phone
  • The Weather Channel - I'm always looking up the weather on my phone
  • Movies - By Flixster - I can check all of the showtimes for local theaters
  • Unread Mail - Shows only my unread Gmail messages
  • ShopSavvy - Lets you scan bar codes at the store and will located the cheapest prices on that item online and in a radius around you in other local stores.  For more details click here.
  • City Caller ID - When I get a call it lists what city the number is from on the Caller ID
  • Pandora - Radio app
  • Txeet SMS - Create fun styles for your text messages or send some funny jokes, words of wisdom, etc
  • Ringdroid - Create your own ring-tones out of any song on your phone.  Love doing this for all of my friends!  They can each have their own ring-tone based on what style of music they like.
