Halloween TRICK or Treat?
This year we had a Trick rather than a Treat when Halloween arrived! Saturday, October 29th, 2011 we had a huge snowstorm hit. We got over 18 inches of snow and lost power at midnight. Now, a week later, still no power at home! Local schools and gyms have been converted into shelters. The kids missed the entire week of school because of this snowstorm. They'll be happy to be back on Monday (I hope!). Check out this video I shot in my driveway of all of the branches and power lines down. Literally every 15 minutes you would hear cracking and banging of trees & branches hitting the ground. Pretty scary stuff! Thankfully my mom took us in for the week so we didn't have to stay in the cold house.
