Hi Everyone!  Just wanted to update you on the 30 Under 30 Results.  I found out this past week that I did not get selected and did not make the Web's Choice, but I had over 42,000 votes!  Last year's winner had just over 35,000 votes so that's awesome!!!  You guys were great, thanks for all of the support and I will be trying again next year!

What Does Being 30 Under 30 Mean To Me? Please Vote For Me!

 

What Does Being 30 Under 30 Mean To Me? Please Vote For Me!

I have been selling real estate for almost 7 years now.  As a young mother of 4 I am used to being on the go.  The real estate industry is fast paced and never gets boring.  I live for the rush of presenting myself and my marketing skills to clients and helping them achieve their goals.  I am passionate about coaching and mentoring and love to offer social media classes in my spare time.  

Ask anyone that is close to me and you'll find out I'm a giver.  Love to help others in any way I can.  Our marketing director at Worcester Regional Association of REALTORS, Carol Riberio, informed me that applications were being accepted for REALTOR Magazine's 30 Under 30 for 2011.  I had one day to get my application filled out, get 2 letters of recommendation and put together a video on why I felt I should be considered for this honor.  After sending it in a few months ago I quickly put it out of my mind thinking nothing would come of it.  Last Monday I was called and told I had made it as a semi finalist.  That is the top 50 out of all that applied and will be published online in a profile for voters to start picking their favorites March 26th - April 3rd.  Still, I had no idea what this meant for me and my future.  

As I thought more and more about the award I started to look up previous winners of the 30 Under 30 as well as some of the Web's Choice Award winners to find out what this achievement has done for them.  I was amazed to hear about the fan mail, HGTV offers, book writing and speaking engagements some of these past winners have had the opportunity to enjoy.  I am a competitive person by nature so just the title of 30 Under 30 is appealing to me, but I know it means so much more.  

I want to win the Web's Choice Award and be one of the 30 Under 30 for so many reasons.  The most important being the opportunities that come along with it.  I'm a teacher by nature and this will help launch me in a direction in my career where I can help more people.  I take pride in what I do and what I represent in the real estate community.  I'm excited for the opportunity to travel and speak at major events teaching others from what I've learned with my experiences.
